Volume 1 contains: Bibliography of the Order; Armorial regulations; Sundry and Doubtful notes, Arms of Jerusalem; Grand Masters; Lieutenants of the Mastery; Anomalies; Langues: France, including Provence & Auverge, England, Italy; Spain and Portugal, Germany; including Austria and the Johanniter to 1763, Anglo-Bavarian; Latin branch; Johanniter of Brandenburg after 1763, England-New Langue up to 1887; and England under New Charter.
Volume 2 contains: Notes on the Armorie of the Order; France (including Provence, Auvergne, and France the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Langues); England (Ancient 6th Langue); Arragon (5th Langue); Castile and Portugal (8th Langue). After this chapter, the manuscript was discontinued although six more headings were prepared for its continuance.
