Museum of the Order of St John imperfect: wants for title page, the plates, and the last three pages, damage to 28-32 pasted over with portion of the text replaced by a manuscript version on p. 31-32. Stub describing the item bound between front cover and flyleaf. Inscriptions on third flyleaf recto: "Presented to William Morris by his kind parents, August 2nd 1843" and "Afterwards to Mr. John Kilshaw, 1858". Inscription on colophon: "Thomas [Hansly?]", other ownership inscriptions at the back of p. 309 pasted over and unreadable. Some ink annotations throughout.
